Congratulations to the staff of OCG for their dedication and commitment to this successful effort.
The adult program and services was awarded a Three Year (3) CARF accreditation after a rigorous on site survey in October, 2022, certified through October 2025.
Accreditation means that OCG has made a commitment to continually enhance the quality of its services and programs and its focus on the satisfaction of the persons served. The programs and services have met consumer-focused, state-of-the-art national standards of performance.

OCG Independence Day Celebration 8/24/2021
/in News /by Aristotle AJICOCG legally separated from its NY parent organization on August 24, 2007. Every year thereafter on or near that date OCG holds an Independence Day Celebration consisting of food, games, and educating the current population of clients and staff on the history of the organization, the events leading up to the split from NY, and how OCG got to where it is today.
The OCG 2021 Graduation Ceremony — Sept. 30, 2021
/in News /by Aristotle AJICOccurring on 9/30/2021 from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm at our Redwood City, California Campus, a record number of Graduates (23) were invited to the ceremony with 21 attending to receive their Graduation Diplomas in person. This was also the first OCG Graduation Ceremony that was simulcast live via YouTube and Zoom.
Residential treatment is now capped at 30 days in CA
/in News /by Aristotle AJICCalifornia, coming in line with the majority of States, moved to an average 30 day length of stay on January 1st, 2022 for the residential treatment modality. This in essence changes the focus of residential–from long term treatment to short term intervention, preparing the client for longer term treatment in the outpatient levels of care

Such is the case for today’s guest, who entered DAYTOP’s adolescent treatment program in Texas. He describes his experience in DAYTOP as negative and destructive which then caused him significant distress in his post treatment adult life. We’re going to give him an opportunity to speak to his experience and to learn how he has ultimately dealt with that experience.
